Routes

Intercity: direct daily trains link with Madrid, with San Sebastian, Hendaye and with Barcelona.

With one change of train, there are daily services to Bilbao, Portugal, and Paris, and to almost all of Spain’s main destinations.

Regional: Approximately every hour, trains depart for the main Galician destinations -A Coruña, Vilagarcía de Arousa, Pontevedra and Vigo- with links to Portugal. There is also a direct, all-day service to the city of Ourense.

Access by road

AP-9 Atlantic Motorway: connects Santiago de Compostela with A Coruña, Ferrol, Pontevedra, Vigo, Tui, and the Portuguese border.

A-6 Northwest Dual Carriageway: connects Galicia with the rest of Spain via the province of Lugo (links with Santiago via the AP-9 motorway, in the surroundings of A Coruña).

A-52 Rías Baixas Dual Carriageway: connects Galicia with the rest of Spain via the province of Ourense (links with Santiago via the AP-9 motorway in Vigo or the N-525 road in Ourense).

AP-53 / AG-53 Motorway: links Santiago with Lalín, where it connects with the AG-53 to Ourense and Madrid.

A-8 Cantabrian Dual Carriageway: connects Galicia with France along the Cantabrian coast (links with Santiago via the A-6 Northwest Dual Carriageway).
